I hope that some of you can join us for a ride along Chicago's lakefront on Tuesday, June 11th. Approx. 24 miles, easy pace, no one left behind.
Let's meet at 10:00 (for a 10:15 start).
Our plan is to begin riding at 10:15, heading south about 12 miles. We'll turn around and ride back for a lunch at the Clock Tower Cafe at Irving Park, overlooking Waveland Golf Course and Lake Michigan. If you don't want to stop for lunch, it is a short ride from Irving Park to the cars at Wilson Avenue. I haven't timed this ride, but depending on how much sightseeing we do, we expect to be back to Wilson Avenue by 2:00-2:30.
Starting Location:
Wilson Avenue (4600 north) in Chicago near the Lakefront Trail. There is free parking along Wilson Avenue...east of lake Shore Drive and east of the bike trail.
