Longer ride on the Fox River Trail and Prairie Trail from the Dundee Depot to Fort McHenry. All paved trails.
Dress in layers. Bring water , snacks and money there is a McDonald’s in Mchenry if the group wants to stop for fast food. Yes … there are hills north of Crystal Lake.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to prepare.
Alternate starting points:
9:30 AM at Towne Park in Algonquin for 28 miles round trip.
10:00 AM at the Gazebo in Crystal Lake for 20 miles round trip.
Reminders: Helmets are expected safety gear. Bike must be in reasonable condition. Guests are welcome to join us for one ride but are expected to join the club for additional rides (insurance requirements). Fountains may be disabled so bring enough water. Please carry emergency contact info.
