Please join us Saturday at 9:00 for a ride from the Prisco Center in North Aurora down the Fox river to the Virgil Gilman Nature Trail then West to Waubonsee College and return. Around 30 miles 99% paved. This is a beautiful ride, gentle rises, mostly flat except for a couple of overpasses. There are a lot of interesting bridges on this ride! The Virgil Gilman Trail is mostly wooded and we may be finding fall colors before the trees loose their leaves! The turn around point is a clean gas station with snacks etc.
Around 45 minutes from Schaumburg.
Casual ride. No one left behind.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to prepare.
Reminders: Helmets are expected safety gear. Bike must be in reasonable condition. Guests are welcome to join us for one ride but are expected to join the club for additional rides (insurance requirements). Fountains may be disabled so bring enough water. Please carry emergency contact info.
Starting Location:
Prisco Community Center (150 W. Illinois Ave, North Aurora) It is at the intersection of RT 31 and W. Illinois Avenue.
