I'm going exploring and you're welcome to join me. Frequently we start at
Illinois Beach State Park and ride to the Jelly Belly Factory. This time
I'm heading to Kenosha instead. (No stop at Jelly Belly.) I'm going to
ride along the lakefront as much as possible. My goal is Harbor Park in
Kenosha. On the way back I'll be following the Kenosha County Trail and
McClory Trail (former right of way of the North Shore Electric). Total
distance about 30 miles. (I'm warming up for GITAP the following weekend.)
As we turn around in Kenosha I'll stop at a local hot dog, hamburger or
sandwich shop for lunch. If you prefer you can bring along something to eat
instead. About half of the ride will be on limestone trails
