Next Saturday morning I’ll enjoy a summer ride on the Virgil Gilman Trail to Waubonsee Community College. You’re welcome to join me. The trail is flat and nicely shaded for most of the distance.
Starting Location:
Phillips Park in Aurora, parking lot across from the visitor center Route 59 south to Ogden Ave/Route 34. Right on Ogden. 3 miles to Montgomery Rd. Right on Montgomery. The park will be on the right after you cross Hill Ave. Keep going on Montgomery, then make a right on Howell. Right on Parker/Ray Moses to enter the park. Park on the right across the street from the visitor center (Mastodon Gallery). About an hour from the clock tower in Schaumburg
