Rockford Rock River Bicycle Trail Ride
September 12, 2015
9:30 am

We will cycle on the paved Orange trail along Willow Creek out of the park to Perryville Road. We then cycle west to the Rock River. Then south along the shoreline paths through many small parks. This is a very scenic and diverse bike ride on side streets and park trails. You will see rock formations like those found in the Dells. You will also see the Rock Guardians. Let us know you're coming so we don't leave without you.

Starting Location:
I-90 Tollway North-West to Rock Cut State Park exit 173. Make a left and go to the light that's the entrance to the park. We meet by the Pierce Lake Dam. Upon entering the park, stay on the main road until you get to the lake. There is a parking lot on the north side of the Dam (Bridge).

Distance: 25
Average Speed: 10-13
Leader: Lynn Caldarola (pldms@aol.com)
