We will ride up to Independence Grove in Libertyville. This trail is limestone. Bathroom/snack break at Independence Grove before returning to the start point. Total mileage is 20-23 miles depending on if you ride the paved loop around Independence Grove. Casual pace no one left behind.
Lunch afterwards at a spot to be determined if interest. Michael's Red Hots in Buffalo Grove where we have gone a few times has closed. There is a Jason's Deli about 2 1/2 miles north of the Forest Preserve in Vernon Hills.

Starting Location:
Half Day Forest Preserve, entrance and parking are located on Route 21 (Milwaukee Ave.) south of Route 60 (Townline Rd.) and just north of Route 22 (Half Day Rd.). Meet at 9:15 a.m. to sign in and get ready to ride. Depart at 9:30 a.m.
