join me on this ride on country roads and a trail between Union and
Marengo.
We will ride quiet country roads, to the H.U.M.
trail, and on to Marengo.
There will be a stop for lunch or refreshments at
Kay'n'Jo's Eats & Sweets
in Marengo. Bakery items, breakfast, salads,
sandwiches, and homemade candy
are all available for purchase there. Or bring
a lunch/snack of your own.
We will return the same way or loop for a couple
more miles depending on
what the group decides. Ride mileage about 25 miles.
Ride pace will be
casual (no one left behind).
Starting Location:
Start Location: Carlos Tomaso Park, Huntley, IL. The park is
located off
Rt. 47 on a side street just north of Algonquin Rd. As you are
headed north
on Rt. 47, when you pass Algonquin Rd., start to look for Ackman.
Turn
left onto Ackman and the park where we will meet is on the right. There
are
bathrooms at the start of the ride. Please arrive by 9:45 a.m.
