We'll ride the trail to the gazebo in Crystal Lake, take a quick bathroom and water break there, and then return to the Depot. This will be approx 18-20 miles round trip. Once back in East Dundee, we'll take a lunch break at one of the eateries in the area. After lunch, IF YOU WANT TO, we'll ride down the trail to the Gail Borden Library in Elgin and return. This will be another approx 10-12 miles round trip. This will be a casual speed ride - - faster riders are welcome to ride ahead - - it's hard to get lost on this trail.
Starting Location:
Meet us at the Depot in East Dundee (319 N. River St.) - - this is about 2 blocks north of Route 72 on River Street (turn right at the Dairy Queen if you're coming west from the Schaumburg area).
