Join me on a ride this Saturday, October 8 at 9:00 am. (8:45 arrival to sign-in). We will be riding on the Salt Creek Greenway from Cricket Creek Forest Preserve in Addison to Brookfield Zoo and back. The distance is approximately 34 miles round trip. Speed is roughly 10-13 mph. and the trail is mostly paved, with some sections on the street.
I will stop at the zoo entrance for an extended rest stop/bathroom break…..but we will not actually enter the zoo or need to pay an entrance fee. On the return portion of the ride we will stop for lunch, with options being Jason’s Deli or The Protein Bar
Starting Location:
Cricket Creek Forest Preserve in Addison Directions from Schaumburg Area:
-Take 290 East
-Exit 83 South
-Lake Street West
-Left/South on Villa Avenue/Wood Dale Road
-Fullerton Avenue will be the first traffic light – make a left
