8:30 am

Join me for a bike ride on Saturday, July 15, at 8:30 am. Starting point is at Deer Grove Forest Preserve East. The entrance is off of Dundee Road. This is east of Smith Street and west of Hicks Road. (NOTE THAT THE ENTRANCE IS NOT ACROSS FROM THE PALATINE STABLES.) It is further east than that entrance. When you pull into the entrance, go past the first parking lot to the stop sign. Go past the stop sign and curve to the left and park by the bathroom on the left. Get there before 8:30 am to get your bike ready and sign in. The ride will be along the Palatine Trail, side streets, and 2 miles or so on crushed limestone, so your bike needs to be able to do limestone. We will ride through Palatine, Arlington Heights, Buffalo Grove, and Long Grove. No lunch stop but a couple of bathroom/water stops. You can bring quick snacks if you want. 11-13 mph for about 25ish miles (might be a little more or less). Any questions, call me at 847/975-5310 or email me at barbacindy@gmail.com by 3:00 Fri
