Friday Ride (9-29-17) to Oswego
September 29, 2017
9:30 am

Join us FRIDAY MORNING for this ride from Bennett Park in Geneva down to Oswego and back. Total round trip distance about 32 miles along the Fox River. We'll make several stops to re-group along the way. Depending on our arrival time in Oswego, we'll make plans there about what we want to do for lunch. Plan on being at Bennett Park by 9:15AM to sign in (ready to ride by 9:30AM). Bennett Park is about 20-22 miles from the Schaumburg area and we would suggest you allow about 45-60 minutes to get there.

DIRECTIONS to Bennett Park. Take North Ave (Route 64) west to St Charles. You'll pass the Charlestowne Mall then cross Dunham Rd and Tyler Rd. At the traffic light at 7th Ave move into the left lane. Turn left on 5th Ave (Route 25) and proceed south. In a very short block you'll cross Illinois Ave (traffic light) and proceed to the stop sign at the foot of the hill. The Fox River will be directly in front of you. Stay to the left along the river and pass Langum Park (on your left). Shortly after you pass Langum Park, watch for Bennett Park on your right - it is an open parking area and you should see other folks gathering there - you'll be turning right into this area. If you reach the traffic light at Route 38 in Geneva (State St/Roosevelt Rd), you've gone about 200 yards too far.

Questions? Call us at 1-847-891-2383 or (cell) 1-630-306-3153. If there should be any reason to cancel, we'll post that notice by 7:30AM. Hope to see some of you FRIDAY MORNING. Howard and Anna.
