Join me for a ride on Saturday, 10/21 on the Des Plaines River Trail between Half Day Forest Preserve and Independence Grove in Lake County.
Where: Half Day Forest Preserve, entrance and parking are located on Route 21 (Milwaukee Ave.) south of Route 60 (Townline Rd.) and just north of Route 22 (Half Day Rd.).
When: Saturday, 10/21 at 9:30 AM. Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign in and prepare.
What: Ride the Des Plaines River Trail to Independence Grove and back, 20-25 miles.
How: Casual speed, no one left behind.
The Des Plaines River Trail is limestone.
